The Steam Activation Process

Our premium carbon media is engineered through precise, high-temperature steam activation of strictly vetted raw materials. This advanced thermal adjustment creates an intricate internal pore network—optimizing micropores in our coal-based carbon for trace contaminant removal, and mesopores in our wood-based carbon for rapid liquid decolorization.
